Ignis Izunia

Ignis originally hales from a small town in Thanalan. He always had dreams of being a Paladin and he pursued them and finally was chosen by the Sultana of Ul'Dah. Ignis would be chosen for many adventures serving as a protector to the Sultana and also other that hired him. On one of his adventures her met her. The woman of his dreams. They quickly fell in love, settled down on the outskirts of Ul'Dah, and started a family. His wife and children loved to hear his stories of adventuring. One day Ignis an adventure to Coerthas which took him away from his family for a few nights. When he returned he found his home had been destroyed and his family killed. From thence on Ignis lost his will and lived a broken life barely with the will to live. He lived in his apartment for almost every day of his waking moments, as the memories haunt him still. He hasn't picked up his sword and shield in years, having forsaken his oath. He was searching for a purpose, but his friends helped him at his lowest, helping him move out of his new home and meet new people. This built up his strength and faith in himself, to finally pick up the sword and shield once more, hoping that one day, he can rekindle the fire and start a new family, as he once did.However, it wasn't long in his paladin path that the light never answered. He became frustrated, not knowing a new door opened, a path to darkness. Dark Knight. That was when everything changed. He became more confident, much more accepting of himself and now has the power to control his destiny once more, ready to see what fate had for him next.After some time, he seemed to be happy to be around people that were very nice and understanding. Soon he moved on from their deaths, but wasn't sure if he would meet the one again. He did. But that's a story for another time. After their mutual parting, She would return home, and after 5 Months of them together, Ignis now had to return to the change. The change of being alone again. He would still be a dark knight, but now, the light didn't respond once more, and the darkness accompied him, as he followed wherever the wind blows.
